Website Terms and Conditions

Effective 3 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Barbershop website, online appointment booking, and the services made available through the website. By using the website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and do not book through it.

1. CONDITIONS OF USE

In these Terms, "Barbershop," "we," "us," and "our" mean the barbershop business operating this website. "You" and "your" mean the person who visits the website, makes a booking, purchases a service, or otherwise interacts with us. These Terms apply together with any booking, payment, privacy, or other notices displayed on the website.

2. WEBSITE OVERVIEW

The website provides information about our services, prices, opening hours, locations, promotions, and appointment availability. Website content is provided for general information and may change as services, schedules, staff availability, and promotions change.

3. APPOINTMENTS AND BOOKINGS

An online booking request is not confirmed until the website or our team confirms the appointment. You must provide accurate and current information and select the correct service, date, time, and customer details. An appointment is intended for the person named in the booking and may not be transferred without our agreement. We may contact you using the details provided to confirm, change, or discuss an appointment.

4. SERVICES AND PRICES

We describe our services and display prices as accurately as reasonably possible. Images and examples are illustrative, and the final result may vary depending on hair type, hair condition, previous treatment, requested style, and the consultation at the appointment. We may recommend changing or declining a service where we reasonably believe it is unsafe, unsuitable, or cannot be performed as requested. Prices, service availability, and promotions may change. The price confirmed for your appointment or shown at checkout will apply, subject to correction of an obvious pricing error.

5. PAYMENT

Payment is due using the payment method offered for the relevant booking or at the Barbershop, as applicable. If a third-party payment provider is used, that provider's terms and privacy practices may also apply. We do not ask you to share your full payment-card credentials through ordinary messages, email, or social media. If a payment is declined, reversed, or not received, we may cancel or hold the booking until the issue is resolved.

6. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING, LATENESS, AND NO SHOWS

You should cancel or reschedule as early as possible using the method shown in your booking confirmation. Any cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, deposit, or no-show policy displayed during booking or communicated by us forms part of these Terms. If you arrive late, we may shorten the service, move the appointment, or treat the appointment as a no-show where the delay affects the next customer. We may charge any fee that was clearly disclosed at booking, subject to applicable law.

7. SERVICE CONCERNS, CORRECTIONS, AND REFUNDS

If you believe a service was not provided as agreed, please contact us promptly with your booking details and a clear description of the concern. We may ask to inspect the result and may offer a reasonable correction, rebooking, refund, or other remedy where appropriate. Refunds and remedies are subject to any policy shown at booking and to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

8. HEALTH, ALLERGIES, AND SERVICE SUITABILITY

Before a service begins, you must tell us about any allergy, sensitivity, medical condition, medication, prior reaction, or other circumstance that could affect the service or the use of a product. We are not a medical provider and our services are not medical advice. If you experience an unexpected reaction or discomfort, stop using the relevant product where appropriate and seek professional medical advice.

9. ACCOUNTS AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

If the website allows you to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. You must not impersonate another person, provide false information, or use an account for an unlawful purpose. By making a booking, you agree that we may send service-related communications, including booking confirmations, reminders, changes, and follow-up messages. Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted, and you may opt out using the method provided.

10. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

We process personal data such as your name, contact details, appointment details, preferences, and messages to provide and manage our services, respond to requests, maintain records, and send communications where permitted. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data and how you may exercise your rights under applicable data-protection law.

11. WEBSITE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content, including text, photographs, graphics, branding, logos, service descriptions, and software, belong to the Duke Barbershop or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, sell, scrape, or exploit website content without our prior written permission, except where applicable law permits it.

12. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must use the website lawfully and in a way that does not harm the website, our systems, our team, or other customers. You must not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, use automated tools to extract data without permission, submit content that is unlawful or abusive, or misuse a promotion, booking system, payment process, or customer account.

13. THIRD PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The website may link to third-party websites, maps, booking tools, social platforms, payment providers, or other services. We provide those links for convenience and do not control or guarantee their content, availability, security, or policies. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's terms.

14. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We try to keep the website, service information, availability, and prices accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or a booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. INDEMNITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate the Barbershop for reasonable losses, costs, or claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of another person's information or account. This section does not require you to compensate us for loss caused by our own unlawful conduct or negligence where such responsibility cannot be excluded.

16. CHANGES AND AVAILABILITY

We may update these Terms, website content, services, prices, opening hours, booking rules, or promotions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process. We may suspend, withdraw, or change all or part of the website or online booking service when reasonably necessary.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Barbershop is established. If you have a concern, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it promptly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the competent court or dispute-resolution forum required by applicable law.

18. QUESTIONS AND CONTACT

Questions about these Terms, a booking, a service, a payment, or a privacy matter should be sent through the contact details published on the website. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant booking or request.
